Melissa Bours is an award winning artist and designer with a particular interest in typography. She provides direction and strategy to a wide variety of creative projects on intimate and grand scales.

With a naturally curious and analytical approach, Mel partners with clients and creatives to build compelling and accurate visual stories that are equally delightful and functional. She has a proven history of design leadership and delivers elevated experiences with an emphasis on craft. 

Mel left California, where she worked full-time at Apple, to return to NYC. She recently completed a post-bacc certificate in Typeface Design from The Cooper Union, and is taking on select projects while establishing her type design practice.
