Identity and packaging for
Gap Kid’s collaboration with Ellen Degeneres.
At Gap, Mel created the visual identity and packaging suite for GapKid's collaboration with Ellen Degeneres' lifestyle brand, ED. The collaboration celebrated individually, curiosity and unbridled playfulness while empowering young girls to express themselves. This identity lived not only on-garment but in social, digital and PR endeavors as well.
There were several custom packaging items created for this collection that helped to empower self-expression. Interactive hangtags have peel off speech bubble stickers, bespoke boxes for tee-shirt packs with their own markers, custom dyed and sized envelops for packs of iron-on patches and interior labels with room for self-customization.
